Grief Vessels
I use the physical act of making felt to help me process my grief. I pour my emotions into these Grief Vessels, and I believe they can hold the weight of it. Each one has its own nooks and crannies, just like loss, which hides in the small places inside us and surfaces at unexpected, often inopportune moments—sometimes taking us by surprise.
In grieving, I've come to believe that if we stay open to possibility, we can allow something painful and traumatic to become something beautiful—through shifted perspective and newly opened doors.
